ロサンゼルスのザ・フォーラムでの公演がツアーの最後の公演として発表されているスレイヤーだが、本当にバンドにとってこれが最後の公演となるのかについて尋ねられると、デイヴ・ロンバードは次のように語っている。
「間違いないよ。僕が聞くところによるとね。トム（・アラヤ）は僕が在籍してた頃から辞めたがっていたんだ。ストップしたがってたからね。彼は首に難があってね。今までずっと、引退したがってたのさ。ようやくそれが叶いそうで、僕も嬉しいね。彼が残りの人生、将来、やりたいことをできるといいなと思うよ」
