ボブ・ディランは1970年にレコーディングした音源を50周年を記念した新たなボックスセットで発売することを発表している。
『1970（50周年コレクション）』は2021年2月26日にソニーよりリリースされる。
3枚組のボックスセットには『新しい夜明け』と『セルフ・ポートレート』のレコーディング・セッションからのアウトテイクや1970年のジョージ・ハリスンとのスタジオ・セッションの音源が収録されている。発表によれば「9曲に2人が取り組んだ様子を収録した」セッションの全編がリリースされるという。
