U2、フリートウッド・マック、ラナ・デル・レイなどが今年のレコード・ストア・デイのブラック・フライデーに限定商品をリリースすることが決定している。
2021年のブラック・フライデーは11月26日になり、100以上のアーティストが独立系レコード店のためにリリースを行う予定となっている。
U2は“Gloria”の40周年記念エディションをリリースし、ラナ・デル・レイは『ケムトレイルズ・オーヴァー・ザ・カントリー・クラブ』のブルーのアナログ盤をリリースする。フリートウッド・マックは2枚組の『ジ・オルタネイト・ライヴ』をリリースする。他にもエヴァネッセンス、ジョー・ストラマー、RZA、カリ・ウチス、オジー・オズボーン、キャロル・キングもリリースを行うことが決定している。
